The Lewisville Area Arts Council, Inc.,(LAAC) is a 501(c)(3) non profit "program arts council" dedicated to the presentation of arts events for the people of Forsyth County with an emphasis on the Lewisville, Clemmons, NC area. Our annual arts festival, The LAWN PARTY will enter a 14th consecutive run on Saturday, September 25, 2004 at beautiful Tanglewood Park. The 2004 event headliner is national recording artists POCO. Other programs produced by The LAAC include The Bluegrass Special (August 21 at Shallowford Square), Gene Hege: Lifeworks (Exhibit - RJR Gallery at Winston Square in July), The Lawn Party Queen's Coronation and Concert (September 24 at Shallowford Square)Acoustic Coffeehouse and LAAC Luau (September 26), Halloween Spooktacular (Saturday before Halloween in Lewisville), The Lewisville Medieval Fantasy Faire (October 2005) and various visual arts and educational programs. The 13th annual
Lewisville/Clemmons

LAWN PARTY 2004


will be held September 25 at Tanglewood Park in Clemmons, NC

The event will kick off on Friday night at 7:30 PM with the new Lawn Party Queen being crowned in the Shallowford Square. The Queen's Coronation Concert will be held immediately following the ceremony until 10 PM. The concert is FREE and open to the public.

Gates will open at the festival at Tanglewood Saturday at 11 AM.

The festival will feature the music of POCO in a tour in support of the first new CD in 13 years. Opening acts will include: Mood Cultivation Project, J. Theory, Barely White and The Green People.
The Dance Stage hosted by Skydance & Friends and will include performances by several dance troups and audience participation opportunities.

The Time Warner Cable Children's Area will offer rides, games and family activities, plus some craft make and takes.

Art, Craft, Country Craft and Non-Profit Area will feature visual arts exhibits, sales and information. SPONSOR'S ROW will be the place to check out the goods and services of our wonderful corporate sponsors!

Black Wolf Vineyards will offer wine by the glass or bottle amd a shady place to sit and enjoy!

Tickets are $12.00 in advance for adults and $16.00 day of show. Kids 12 and under are FREE with a paid adult. Tickets will be available at Truliant Federal Credit Union branches in July OR at www.jambase.com.
